Managing procurement across multiple construction projects can be challenging when information is spread across different systems and teams. This makes it difficult to maintain a clear overview of what is needed, what has been ordered, and what still needs attention, increasing the risk of delays and unnecessary spending.

solution

InfraProc is a procurement management platform that brings project procurement into one connected system. It gives construction teams a unified view of procurement activity while helping them track supplier performance, delivery timelines, and quality. Over time, this builds a reliable supplier database, making future purchasing decisions more informed and efficient.

InfraProc started with a study of why real estate projects are frequently delayed. After identifying and analysing the major causes, I chose to focus on procurement and the fragmentation involved in managing it across multiple construction projects. The project explored how scattered procurement information makes it difficult for teams to maintain visibility and make timely decisions. This led to the vision of a connected system that brings procurement activity together while building a clearer understanding of supplier performance over time.

Driven by this direction, I researched construction procurement workflows, studying how requirements, suppliers, purchasing, deliveries, and project schedules interact. The research revealed that the challenge was not a lack of individual tools, but the fragmentation between them. These insights shaped InfraProc as a connected procurement system that brings this information together and makes supplier performance visible over time.

The resulting platform helps teams maintain a clearer view of procurement across projects, identify gaps earlier, and make more informed purchasing decisions. Supplier performance is continuously recorded through delivery and quality data, gradually building a supplier database that can support future procurement decisions.
